The upper picture was taken on the night of its unveiling at the gala held in the Gold Room in the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.
The lower picture was taken many years later under VERY different lighting conditions. This project in particular was very sensitive to the light that struck it and passed through it. This is normal in stained glass, but in this case the difference is dramatic!
