On the book shelf in that room... there was a model of a Napoleon... (cannons bought from France by the Confederacy early in the War because they couldn't cast their own...) The background color, reminiscent of the famous red clay of Virginia was actually matched to the suede upholstery of a brand new love seat placed right next to the window...
