A Tennessee Forest

Picture
The Commission:
"We want to bring the cabin at the lake home to Nashville."

Almost everything in this window tells some story.  In Tennessee there are dead skunks ALL OVER the roads so we put a live one in the window. Raccoons are constantly breaking into stuff and generally making a mess so we had two of them breaking into the window...

At the time their son drove a silver Audi fox.... Sooo there's a silver fox in the window...

I had the ugliest possum hanging inside the hollow tree trunk in the upper right, just under the canopy of red leaves,  and that was the only change they made in the whole design when I presented the drawing (or the cartoon as it is called... appropriate in this case don't you think?)

The patron said, and I quote, "NO POSSUMS."

"But it's Tennessee!" I said.

"I don't care."  Soooo.....  no possums.  I put a red squirrel in the tree instead.
Picture
If you're wondering what those  red leaves are..... One summer everybody got poison ivy.... Sooooo.....
